Hi. I’m Lyvita, Bible teacher, author, founder of The Me Project Academy and your host. Thank you so much for joining me for this week’s episode. My prayer is that this message challenges you to get out of whatever rut you are in and begin spending time with the Lord.

If you haven’t already, I’d love for you to go ahead and subscribe today to this podcast so you can get the latest updates from me and you don’t ever have to miss a new episode.

This is episode #95. I will be discussing with my storytelling coach, Valeria Elliot, why should we write our story. Interesting. Yea, I know.

The Me Project Academy Updates

That discussion and more is coming up after updates from me and The Me Project Academy. You may need your calendar for this. I have three things to share and dates are included.

1:39 – There are three things, I’d like to invite you to join me:

#1- I’m going to teach a bible class for five weeks in March called Facing the Unknown. It begins March 1 to the 29th from 6:30 to 8 pm on Friday nights. You can register at www.themeprojectacademy.com or click on the link in the show notes.

#2 – Now for my booklovers, writers and creatives, February is Library Lover’s Month. If you read aloud to a love one on Februrary 7th for World Read Aloud Day or you did #libraryshelfieday with me on the 12. That is so cool. Please send me your pics on [email protected] so I can post on my newsletter or DM me on Instagram. Did anyone see my pic? I made sure my books Nuggets for Thought was in the picture so you would know it was from me. Did you see it?

Now if you want to hang out with me and other book lovers, writers and creatives than get on my newsletter, the link is in the show notes, because I post things there and Instagram. This way we can get to meet each other and fellowship on special occasions.

#3 – The book I wrote with my mother’s poems and reflections in it, won another award. This new one I’m a finalist from the CAN Excellence in Marketing Awards. Wow! If you had the chance to pick up your copy of Nuggets for Thought A Mother and Daughter’s …, please take some time now and write a review on Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes and Nobles or ChristianBooks.com. Saints those reviews help position the book in a place where more people will see it. If you haven’t read the book yet. Check it out. It’s also in ebook form.

If you are new to this podcast, Welcome! If you want more information about what we do in the academy make sure you subscribe to our email community. The link is in the show notes and on www.themeprojectacademy.com.

Now come walk with me where we intentionally and daily hang out with Jesus.

4:05 – Lord, thank you for allowing us to be in Your presence, again, together, for such a time as this to talk about developing our story which has been especially designed by You.

Episode Starts

4:24 – Lyvita: Saints, I know you are wondering, “What does Lyvita mean by Our Story?” What is she talking about. Well, let’s start from the beginning. When you accepted Christ, you became a member of the body of Christ with a purpose attached. Now it may take a while for some to recognize, accept or go and do what that purpose, which you hear me saying, calling is. But we eventually find it as we consistently, hang out with Jesus.

In hanging out with Jesus we realize that Jesus has a story that is found in the Bible. Paul had a story. Queen Ester had a story. Everyone had a story in the Bible. Same with us. We each have a story. Our life is our story. It’s from how we arrived into this world, the experiences that shape us, the people that have impacted us and more. But I’d like you to hear from the guru of storytelling. My coach and host of Ms. V Storytelling Podcast, Valeria Elliot.
