Saints, today is a special day. It’s the first Thursday in May, better known as the National Day of Prayer. I’d like to read Matthew 26:36-40. It’s on this day that Jesus took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee to the Garden of Gethsemane where He went to pray.

“Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go over there and pray.” 37 And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful and troubled. 38 Then he said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch[a] with me.” 39 And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” 40 And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping. And he said to Peter, “So, could you not watch with me one hour?”
1:22 - Saints, I ask that of you now. Our land needs healing. Sin is running rampart and souls are dying without knowing Christ. We are the Followers of Christ Jesus, the Laborers, and the intercessors. Pray and watch with us as we unite in a chain prayer, with you, for an hour over our countries, government, families, marriages, military, educational system, media, businesses, and churches. Throughout the prayer you will hear scriptures, moments of praise, and have a moment of silence to listen for the voice of God. The chain prayer will end with the singing of Our Father. As I share who is praying, take this time to get into a place or position where you can join in the prayer and shout if needed.
