My married Sisters-in-Christ and my soon to be married Sisters-in-Christ, it’s time to get bold and intentional about our men. Yep, this episode is about doing the most important thing we can to build up, sustain, and moving our husbands forward in Christ Jesus. Yes I’m talking about the spiritual discipline of intercessory prayer. And yet, it comes with Bible study and a passion to honor, as the Bible says, in Ephesians 5:33, “respect your husbands.”  

And before I go any further, this is about, you, the wife, not “you the wife trying to make your husband into what you want him to be.” Nope, that’s not this party.

So gather up your Bible, journal, pen, and a comfy place to take notes because I have 3 of my friends on this episode to help me share how best we can intercede for our husbands.

14:20 – Lyvita: I read an article from Marriage Today on How to honor and respect your husbands, in it, they, who is Jimmy and Karen Evans, state that honor and respect are the number-one need for men in which they can’t get by themselves.

I referenced Ephesians 5:33 in the beginning of the episode. Paul writes, “let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.” So FYI: This is not a talk about being submissive, that’s for another episode. No, today we are going to talk about honoring and respecting our husbands, your husband through interceding for him in prayer.
