A Psalm 91 Prayer

Join me in prayer as we use Psalm 91 as the foundation in our prayer. Let’s pray... 

“Oh Most High, God my Father, You hold fast to me in love, will deliver me and will protect me because I know Your name. It’s written in your word. I trust and believe Your word to be true.  

You said when I call you, you will answer me. You said You’d be with me in trouble, rescue me, give me a way of escape and honor me. You’d even satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation. It is for this reason that I abide in your word and dwell in your presence because You are my refugee and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. 

I am Your Child because I call on You, I know Your name, I’ve accepted Your Son as my Lord and Savior, I know The Holy Spirit lives and reigns in me. I call You by Your name. So I call out to You.  

Almighty, God my Father, deliver me from the snare of the fowler and the deadly pestilence. Help my unbelief so that I want fear the terror of the night, nor the lies and condemnations that flies by day nor the pestilence or sicknesses that stalks in darkness, not even the destruction, floods, fires that wastes at noonday.  

Father, cover me with your feathers and let Your wings be my refuge and my faith in You be a shield and high tower against them all. I have made You Lord, my dwelling place. You are the Most High who is my refugee. 

Let no evil befall me. Give the command and Your angels will guard me in all my ways. For You are the Most High, God Almighty, my refugee and my fortress, my God in whom I put my trust. 

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
